The New York State Public Health Association (NYSPHA) is hosting a webinar highlighting a case study of a 2019 campaign to address flavored tobacco products and vaping led by the Flavors Hooks Kids Coalition. The webinar will examine how health equity is addressed in promoting public health policy to the community. Attendees will learn about how the tobacco industry has used menthol-flavored tobacco to target vulnerable populations, specifically African Americans and children, and how public health policies aim to tackle health disparities. This webinar will be presented by Deidre Sully, Director of NYC Smoke-Free, Public Health Solutions.

This webinar is free for NYSPHA members and has a $10 registration fee for nonmembers.
